Calvin Bassey was born on the 31st Of December, 1999 in Aosta, Italy, to Nigerian parents. Calvin spent most of his youthful days in England, where he grew up, as he was a child when they moved from Italy to England. Little or no information is known regarding his education nor family Background, as it is a bit complicated, since his parents separated a long time ago.
FOOTBALL CAREER
Calvin Bassey started his career after joining Leicester City Youth Club at the age of 15. Within a short period of time, he got transferred to Rangers and made his debut showcase with the club on the 9th of August, 2020. He stayed with Rangers till 2022.
In July of 2022, Bassey got sold to Ajax for a club record fee of around £20 Million on the 28th of July, 2023. Bassey joined Premier League club, Fulham on a four year deal. He was paid a transfer fee of £21 Million.
Bassey also plays for the Nigerian National Football Team, known as The Super Eagles. He made his National Team debut in March of 2022, during the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualification Competition.
