Born on May 9, 1992, as Maya Christinah Xichavo Wegerif, Sho Madjozi hails from Shirley Village, a small village in Limpopo, South Africa. She was raised in a close-knit family that instilled in her a deep appreciation for her Tsonga roots.
According to Wikipedia, Sho Madjozi comes from a family of interracial parents and siblings. Her mother, Rosemary Phaweni was African Descent and her father, Marc Wegerif, is of European Descent. It is stated that Sho Madjozi has steps siblings from both sides of her parents after they divorced when she was just a little girl.
For her Education, Sho Madjozi attended quite a number of good Schools such as International School Of Tanganyika in Tanzania for her High school Education. She also attended Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts, USA, thanks to a Scholarship where she studied and bagged a degree in Creative Writing and African Studies.
