EARLY LIFE, BACKGROUND AND EDUCATION

Born on May 9, 1992, as Maya Christinah Xichavo Wegerif, Sho Madjozi hails from Shirley Village, a small village in Limpopo, South Africa. She was raised in a close-knit family that instilled in her a deep appreciation for her Tsonga roots.

According to Wikipedia, Sho Madjozi comes from a family of interracial parents and siblings. Her mother, Rosemary Phaweni was African Descent and her father, Marc Wegerif, is of European Descent. It is stated that Sho Madjozi has steps siblings from both sides of her parents after they divorced when she was just a little girl.

For her Education, Sho Madjozi attended quite a number of good Schools such as International School Of Tanganyika in Tanzania for her High school Education. She also attended Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts, USA, thanks to a Scholarship where she studied and bagged a degree in Creative Writing and African Studies. She also studied At the University Of South Africa, In Johannesburg. We now move to Sho Madjozi’s Career as a Musician.

MUSIC CAREER

Well, Sho Madjozi has gone far since the start of her career, however, we are going to touch down on some of her most Vital Achievements. She released her debut single titled “Dumi Hiphone” in 2017. However she became more recognised in 2018 further on.

Sho Madjozi released her debut studio Album in 2018 titled “Limpopo Champions League”. The Album had hit tracks and was well acclaimed by the Audience. In 2017, she was featured in Black Coffee’s “Probleme” Track from the Album, “Blaqboy Music Presents, Gcom The Wave”. On the 27th of September, 2019, Sho Madjozi released her Popular hit single, John Cena, which was named after Popular WWE Wrestler, John Cena. The song spawned a number of Achievements for her and she had the privilege to meet John Cena in person.

In June 2021, Popular Nigerian Music Producer, Rexxie, ft Sho Madjozi on the Remix of his hit song, Ko Por Ke (KPK) alongside Late Mohbad.
